- Placing a food stand strategically five minutes down the road
- Teaching me to love hot humid weather, and for helping me escape the winter back home
- Showing me what God’s version of success is
- Nights of endless laughter with team fervent

- Giving me the opportunity to play a real soccer game in a real soccer uniform!

- Teaching me how to serve from a place of abiding with God
- Ice cream in a bag
- Introducing me to your sweet community’s tucked away in your jungle like Bambu and Tsuiri
- Giving me an irrational fear of ants, leaf cutter ants are a whole other level
- Your endless days of rain, although I can’t say I was as thankful in the moment
- Turbo flakes, chickies, yippies and all the snacks we feasted on during team time
- Teaching me how to make concrete from scratch
- Letting me witness my friends declare new life through baptism!
- Growing my favorite flowers everywhere, I’m a hibiscus girl what can I say
- Waking me up to the insects and birds chirping every morning
- Teaching me to appreciate cold showers
- Showing me how to choose into the hard things
- Introducing me to my new favorite breakfast, Gollo Pinto
- Teaching me that humility is not taking everything on and trying to do it on your own but inviting people in to help you
